Your records stay on this device

Your shift records, income amounts, restaurant settings, and preferences are saved on this device. Tip Calendar is designed for US restaurant servers who want take-home pay tracking without putting wage data in a cloud account.

No account required

You can record shifts, view history, and export your data without creating an account or providing an email address.

No cloud upload of income records in this version

This version does not upload your shift or income records to our servers. We do not sell your data or use your income data for advertising.

Anonymous usage and crash reports

If you choose Allow in the app, this version sends usage counts (for example app opens and shift saves), an app-install identifier, approximate location derived from network information, device details, and crash reports to Google Firebase so we can understand usage and keep the app reliable. It does not upload shift amounts, restaurant names, dates, or notes. This data is not used for advertising and is not tied to an account. Collection is off until you choose Allow, and you can turn it off later under Preferences.

Advertising and consent choices

Tip Calendar uses Firebase Remote Config to decide whether advertising is enabled. When enabled, the app uses Google AdMob to show banner ads on the Calendar and Stats screens only. Before requesting an ad, Google’s User Messaging Platform checks whether consent is required and presents the appropriate choice where applicable. If an ad request is not permitted or the service is unavailable, the app does not request or display an ad.

AdMob may process device information, an app-install or advertising identifier when permitted, approximate location derived from network information, and ad views or interactions to provide, measure, and protect advertising. Tip Calendar does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not send your income, tip amounts, shift records, restaurant names, dates, or notes to AdMob for advertising.

Where Google requires privacy options to remain available, you can review or withdraw your advertising consent from Preferences → Ad privacy choices. Changing advertising consent does not change your separate choice for optional Firebase usage analytics and crash reports.

Export is your choice

CSV and JSON export only happen when you choose to export. Exported files are yours to save, share, or delete.

Back up before deleting

Uninstalling the app or clearing local storage may remove records from this device. Use JSON backup if you want to keep a complete copy.

Retention, deletion, and consent

Shift records remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. You can delete all local records under Data & backup. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time under Preferences and, where available, change advertising consent under Ad privacy choices. For requests concerning previously collected analytics or crash data, email us using the address below.

This website

The Tip Calendar marketing site is static HTML. It does not require a login and does not collect shift data. If a hosted version later adds analytics cookies, this policy will be updated before that change.

Future cloud sync

If a future version adds account login, cloud sync, or automatic backup, those features will be optional. Before you turn them on, the app will explain what data is uploaded, why it is uploaded, how sync works, and how you can delete it.
